Are you recruiters?
No. We do not fill roles or run recruiting functions. Our work focuses on building the systems, structure, and leadership capability that support hiring and retention at scale. We help organizations make better talent decisions, not source candidates.

Are you executive coaches?
Coaching often happens as a byproduct of our work, especially when partnering closely with leaders and HR teams. That said, we are not a coaching engagement. Our focus is building durable people infrastructure and leadership capability that supports the business long after our work is done.

Do you handle HR compliance?
We help leaders identify and mitigate people-related risk, including compliance risk, but always through the lens of infrastructure, accountability, and ownership. We do not operate as compliance officers or policy vendors. Our focus is helping organizations know who owns what and where risk actually lives.

How are you different from traditional HR consultants?
We bring lived operating experience. We have led HR inside complex organizations and partnered directly with CEOs, boards, and investors. Our work is practical, business-aligned, and designed so teams can run with it after we leave. We do not deliver generic playbooks or theory without application.

What types of organizations do you typically work with?
We primarily work with mid-market organizations, often PE-backed, navigating growth, transformation, or value creation. Our clients range from $100M businesses to large enterprises, and across industries including industrial, manufacturing, construction, med tech, and field-based environments.

Where do most clients start?
Most organizations start with the HR Infrastructure Assessment. It provides clarity on what is working, what is not, and where to focus first. Some clients then continue working with us. Others use the roadmap internally. The assessment stands on its own.

How long do engagements typically last?
It depends on the work. Assessments are short and focused. Fractional HR Leadership and Build Your Bench engagements often run several months, depending on priorities and pace. We align scope and timing upfront so expectations are clear.

Do you replace internal HR teams?
No. We work alongside internal teams. Our goal is to strengthen capability, provide senior leadership perspective, and leave teams better equipped to operate independently.

Who is not a good fit for your work?
Organizations looking for recruiting support, compliance-only services, or coaching-only engagements are typically not a fit. Companies that are not open to change or shared accountability may also find our approach challenging.

What happens after I reach out?
We start with a conversation. We listen, ask questions, and share how we would think about your situation. From there, you decide whether it makes sense to continue. There is no obligation and no pressure.
